🌿 Marking 170 years since the founding of the “Anastasie Fătu” Botanical Garden in Iași—Romania’s first botanical garden.
📮🌺 Romfilatelia and the Romanian Post joined the “Anastasie Fătu” Botanical Garden of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași in celebrating this special anniversary.
📅 To mark the occasion, the postage stamp issue titled “The ‘Anastasie Fătu’ Botanical Garden of ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ University of Iași – 170 Years” was launched on August 10, 2026, honoring the garden’s remarkable history and the value of Romania’s botanical heritage. 💌🌿
🌷🔎 The philatelic issue highlights rare plant species—including those threatened with extinction and those with internationally recognized ornamental value—symbolically uniting philately, science, and the beauty of nature. 🌱🌺
🤝💐 We extend our thanks for the invitation to Prof. Dr. Liviu-George Maha, Rector of “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, and to Prof. Dr. Cătălin Tănase, Director of the “Anastasie Fătu” Botanical Garden.
🎉🌳 Happy Anniversary to the “Anastasie Fătu” Botanical Garden!
May it continue to inspire generations through science, education, and respect for nature! 🌿🦋
🌸 ✨ Vivat, crescat, floreat! ✨
