De-a lungul anilor, automobilele, motocicletele \u015fi avioanele au fost pentru Regele Mihai I deopotriv\u0103 un hobby \u015fi un fel de a se ap\u0103ra de toate presiunile \u015fi tensiunile vie\u0163ii, fapt pe care Romfilatelia<\/strong> \u00eel aduce \u00een aten\u0163ia publicului larg prin emisiunea \u201eMotoarele, pasiune regal\u0103\u201d<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Primul autovehicul condus de Majestatea Sa a fost \u00een anul 1927, c\u00e2nd la v\u00e2rsta de 6 ani a primit o ma\u015fin\u0103 electric\u0103 de fabrica\u0163ie englezeasc\u0103, numit\u0103 G\u00e2ndacul Ro\u015fu<\/em> (\u201eRed Bug\u201d).<\/p>\n

Prima ma\u015fin\u0103 adev\u0103rat\u0103, un Morris de produc\u0163ie 1927, a primit-o \u00een dar de la Principele Nicolae, unchiul s\u0103u, la numai 8 ani. Pentru a \u00eenv\u0103\u0163a s\u0103 o conduc\u0103 t\u00e2n\u0103rul Principe Mo\u015ftenitor se uita cu aten\u0163ie la \u015foferii Palatului Regal pentru a \u201efura\u201d meseria, dar a avut \u015fi un \u015fofer dedicat, care l-a ini\u0163iat \u00een arta condusului \u015fi c\u00e2teva chestiuni importante despre mecanica motoarelor.<\/p>\n

P\u00e2n\u0103 la v\u00e2rsta de 15 ani condusese exact 44.415 km, conform noti\u0163elor minu\u0163ios p\u0103strate de-a lungul vie\u0163ii.<\/p>\n

\u00cen urma studiului listelor de automobile (Regele a \u00eenregistrat fiecare kilometru parcurs cu automobilul sau avionul \u00een carnete speciale), se poate constata c\u0103 \u00een tinere\u0163e Majestatea Sa a avut dou\u0103 sau trei automobile \u00een acela\u015fi timp, pe care le folosea \u00eentr-o rota\u0163ie s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2nal\u0103, \u015fi pe care, dup\u0103 c\u00e2\u0163iva ani de condus, le \u00eenstr\u0103ina. Una din aceste ma\u015fini este automobilul Aero 30 Roadster pe care Regele l-a primit \u00een 1937, de la Pre\u015fedintele Bene\u0161 al Cehoslovaciei, ilustrat pe timbrul cu valoarea nominal\u0103 de 4 lei<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Regele nu a colec\u0163ionat \u00eens\u0103 niciodat\u0103 ma\u015fini \u00een calitate de trofee pe care s\u0103 le expun\u0103 \u00een fa\u0163a altora. Ma\u015finile sale au fost conduse, \u00eengrijite, reparate, v\u0103zute ca un triumf al ingeniozit\u0103\u0163ii umane \u015fi tratate ca o surs\u0103 de echilibru.<\/p>\n

\u00cen total, Regele Mihai I, la venerabila v\u00e2rst\u0103 de 95 ani de\u0163ine 38 de ma\u015fini, la care se adaug\u0103 cele patru jeepuri militare americane, toate originale, unele primite \u00een dar, altele recondi\u0163ionate personal de Majestatea Sa.<\/p>\n

Una din pl\u0103cerile \u015federilor de la S\u0103v\u00e2r\u015fin era condusul jeepului prin p\u0103dure, un loc de tihn\u0103 \u015fi armonie \u00een mijlocul tumultului celui de-al Doilea R\u0103zboi Mondial. \u00cen colec\u0163ia actual\u0103 a Majest\u0103\u0163ii Sale exist\u0103 trei jeepuri \u00eenmatriculate pentru circula\u0163ie.<\/p>\n

\u00cen cei peste 80 de ani de condus ma\u015fini, Regele a stat la volan de-a lungul a peste dou\u0103 milioane de kilometri. Cu modestie, Majestatea Sa a spus c\u0103 \u201e\u00een zilele noastre, aceasta nu mai \u00eenseamn\u0103 mare lucru, fiindc\u0103 sunt oameni care conduc peste 100.000 de kilometri pe an\u201d.<\/p>\n

De\u015fi interesul s\u0103u s-a concentrat asupra ma\u015finilor, Majestatea Sa nu s-a limitat la aceste forme de vehicule, conduc\u00e2nd motociclete, asemenea celei ilustrate pe timbrul cu valoarea nominal\u0103 de 4,50 lei<\/strong>, \u015fi pilot\u00e2nd avioane.<\/p>\n

Pasiunea pentru condus \u015fi pentru autovehicule a fost \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u015fit\u0103 \u015fi de Regina Ana, unul din momentele pe care cuplul regal le-a \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u015fit fiind ilustrat pe timbrul cu valoarea nominal\u0103 de 8 lei<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Entuziasmul Regelui Mihai I s-a r\u0103sfr\u00e2nt asupra avioanelor. Primul zbor \u00een calitate de pasager a fost \u00eentre Bucure\u015fti \u015fi Ploie\u015fti, \u00een 1934, c\u00e2nd Regele avea 12 ani.<\/p>\n

Mult\u0103 vreme Regelui nu i s-a mai permis s\u0103 se urce \u00eentr-un avion, fiind considerat ca inadmisibil pentru Principele Mo\u015ftenitor \u015fi mai t\u00e2rziu pentru Rege s\u0103 \u00ee\u015fi ri\u015fte via\u0163a \u00een acest fel.<\/p>\n

Dar, cu ajutorul pilotului Traian Udrischi, Regele a \u00eenv\u0103\u0163at s\u0103 piloteze \u015fi \u00ee\u015fi aminte\u015fte de primul avion pe care l-a pilotat singur, un Junkers JU 52, model de fabrica\u0163ie german\u0103, \u201ecu o greutate proprie de cinci tone ce se mi\u015fca diferit atunci c\u00e2nd erau persoane la bord\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00cen Europa, Regele a pilotat avioane \u00eendeosebi pe ruta B\u0103neasa \u2013 Londra \u015fi B\u0103neasa \u2013 Roma. \u00cen Statele Unite, a lucrat ca pilot de \u00eencercare pentru Lockheed Aircraft, vizita sa la fabrica companiei din SUA fiind ilustrat\u0103 pe timbrul cu valoarea nominal\u0103 de 15 lei<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Atunci c\u00e2nd s-a oprit din a \u0163ine eviden\u0163a zborurilor, Majestatea Sa avea, la 31 august 1960, 955 de ore \u015fi 55 de minute de zbor, acumulate cu 50 de avioane diferite, conform noti\u0163elor pe care el \u00eensu\u015fi le \u0163inea, pe un carnet special de 120 de pagini ce cuprinde cu minu\u0163iozitate fiecare zbor \u00eentre anii 1934-1961.<\/p>\n

Pe domeniul regal de la S\u0103v\u00e2r\u015fin s-a deschis, \u00een ziua de 25 octombrie 2011, cu ocazia anivers\u0103rii v\u00e2rstei de 90 de ani a Majest\u0103\u0163ii Sale, Muzeul Regal al Automobilului, ce g\u0103zduie\u015fte colec\u0163ia actual\u0103 de ma\u015fini regale, noi \u015fi vechi, precum \u015fi o expozi\u0163ie de fotografii \u015fi documente legate de pasiunea Familiei Regale a Rom\u00e2niei, din 1866 p\u00e2n\u0103 ast\u0103zi.<\/p>\n
