Cu o sut\u00e3 de ani \u00een urm\u00e3, un t\u00e2n\u00e3r propunea lumii aeronautice o revolu\u0163ie ce ar fi adus viitorul \u00een prezent. El expunea la cel de-al doilea Salon Aeronautic de la Paris primul avion f\u00e3r\u00e3 elice cu turbo-propulsor. Numele s\u00e3u: Henri Coand\u00e3. Na\u0163ionalitatea: rom\u00e2n. V\u00e2rsta: 24 de ani. Studii: absolvent al \u0218colii Superioare de Aeronautic\u00e3 \u015fi Construc\u0163ii Mecanice din Paris (prima promo\u0163ie). Din pliantul conceput de Coand\u00e3 pentru promovarea avionului afl\u00e3m detaliile de construc\u0163ie: anvergura maxim\u00e3 – 10,30 m, profunzimea aripilor – 1,75 m, lungimea aparatului – 12,50 m, suprafa\u0163a portant\u00e3 total\u00e3 – 32 m2, greutatea total\u00e3 \u00een pozi\u0163ie de rulaj cu un motor Clerget de 50 CP \u015fi o turbin\u00e3 propulsiv\u00e3 – 420 kg. Aripile. Detalii de construc\u0163ie. Aripile brevetate: arm\u00e3tur\u00e3 interioar\u00e3 de o\u0163el. Exteriorul \u00een \u00eentregime din lemn foarte lustruit \u015fi l\u00e3cuit. Aripi de dimensiuni inegale. Sub aripi, canale de aer prin nervuri proeminente. Aripile prinse de fuzelaj prin tuburi de o\u0163el de cea mai mic\u00e3 rezisten\u0163\u00e3 la \u00eenaintare, f\u00e3r\u00e3 niciun \u00eentinz\u00e3tor sau cablu. Centrul de greutate destul de ridicat pentru a u\u015fura virajele… Fuzelajul (\u00eenchiz\u00e2nd motorul, rezervoarele, pasagerii), flancat de dou\u00e3 radiatoare, poart\u00e3 \u00een fa\u0163\u00e3 propulsorul. Acest propulsor brevetat (brevet nr. 416 541 din 9 august 1910) va da mult\u00e3 b\u00e3taie de cap speciali\u015ftilor contemporani, inventatorului, dar \u015fi celor din ziua de azi. Conceput sub forma unei turbine ac\u0163ionat\u00e3 prin intermediul unui motor cu patru cilindri \u00een linie, r\u00e3cit cu ap\u00e3, fabricat de Paul Clerget, propulsorul transforma mi\u015fcarea de rota\u0163ie din jurul axului s\u00e3u \u00eentr-o mi\u015fcare de transla\u0163ie paralel\u00e3 cu axul. Produc\u00e2nd un vid relativ, concomitent cu cre\u015fterea presiunii aerului pe care \u00eel utiliza, propulsorul determina o sc\u00e3dere de presiune care urma calea cea mai scurt\u00e3. Schimb\u00e2nd brusc direc\u0163ia de deplasare a fileurilor de aer aflate \u00een mi\u015fcare, viteza sa se anula, iar presiunea devenea maxim\u00e3. Determin\u00e2nd prin construc\u0163ia propulsorului ca aceast\u00e3 presiune s\u00e3 fie axial\u00e3, ob\u0163inea, prin \u00eensumarea presiunilor paralele, un rezultat ce urma axul propulsorului determin\u00e2nd for\u0163a propulsiv\u00e3… \u00cen decembrie 1910, pe c\u00e2mpul de la Issy-les-Moulineaux, Henri Coand\u00e3 \u015fi-a dat \u00eent\u00e2lnire cu destinul s\u00e3u. A pornit motorul Clerget al avionului, turbina a \u00eenceput s\u00e3 se roteasc\u00e3, mai repede \u015fi mai repede; un zgomot, specific motoarelor cu reac\u0163ie, a spart lini\u015ftea c\u00e2mpului. Avionul a \u00eenceput s\u00e3 ruleze, a luat vitez\u00e3, jetul de aer refulat de compresor s-a transformat \u00een fl\u00e3c\u00e3ri; fl\u00e3c\u00e3rile se apropiau amenin\u0163\u00e3tor de fa\u0163a t\u00e2n\u00e3rului Coand\u00e3, zgomotul cre\u015ftea \u00een intensitate odat\u00e3 cu viteza; inventatorul nepilot s-a speriat, s-a pierdut cu firea; avionul avea vitez\u00e3 tot mai mare, s-a desprins de sol, a f\u00e3cut o \u015fandel\u00e3 pe o arip\u00e3 \u015fi s-a pr\u00e3bu\u015fit nu \u00eenainte ca norocosul Coand\u00e3 s\u00e3 fi fost aruncat din avion. Fusese primul experiment din istoria aeronauticii cu un avion propulsat prin reac\u0163ie. Talentul, priceperea, voca\u0163ia lui Henri Coand\u00e3 au determinat un act de crea\u0163ie tehnic\u00e3 pe care al\u0163ii, \u00een acele vremuri \u015fi mai t\u00e2rziu, nu \u015fi-l puteau nici m\u00e3car imagina, cu at\u00e2t mai pu\u0163in, \u00een\u0163elege. Sesiz\u00e2nd realitatea, Gustave Eiffel, unul dintre cei care au avut \u00eencredere \u00een \u201emiracolul\u201c Coand\u00e3, avea s\u00e3 declare public: \u201eB\u00e3iatul \u00e3sta s-a n\u00e3scut cu 30 de ani dac\u00e3 nu, cu 50 de ani prea devreme!\u201c \u0218i ast\u00e3zi, privind fotografiile cu acest avion, obiectiv fiind, nu po\u0163i dec\u00e2t s\u00e3 te exprimi prin termenul – Fascinant! Ca un omagiu adus marelui savant, cea mai mare poart\u00e3 aerian\u00e3 a Rom\u00e2niei, cunoscut\u00e3 anterior sub denumirea Aeroportul Otopeni, \u00eei poart\u00e3 numele: Aeroportul Interna\u0163ional \u201eHenri Coand\u00e3\u201c Bucure\u015fti. Cu ocazia \u00eemplinirii unui secol de la prezentarea primului avion cu reac\u0163ie, \u00een cadrul celui de-al doilea Salon de Aeronautic\u00e3 de la Paris, Romfilatelia introduce \u00een circula\u0163ie emisiunea de m\u00e3rci po\u015ftale \u201eCentenarul avionului cu reac\u0163ie – Coand\u00e3 1910\u201c.<\/p>\n
