The 76th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel was celebrated at the National Opera together with Romanian and Israeli officials, the Ambassador of the State of Israel in Bucharest, Mr. Reuven Azar, the host of the event, friends and those close to the people with whom we are linked and philatelically an old relationship that has materialized in issues of postage stamps designed to promote bilateral relations.
We enjoyed a moving performance together with the National Opera Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Jinga, as well as the children’s choir of the Lauder Reut High School in Bucharest and the band that represented Israel at Eurovision 1981, Habibi Group.
With the full conviction that the evocative power of philately is recognized and admired everywhere, the postage stamp and its collection becoming a promise for a more beautiful future that we will continue to reinvent together with our Israeli partners in future projects!
