A continuous supporter of projects and initiatives that promote bilateral diplomatic relations, public diplomacy, and shared values and symbols with other cultures and nations, Romfilatelia hosted Mr. Lucian-Ilie Stănică, the Consul General of Romania in Chicago, at its headquarters.
During the meeting, a pleasant retrospective of postage stamp issues on the US relationship was held, some even related to the strategic partnership, in view of the development of new thematic philatelic projects.
The Consul General of Romania in Chicago praised Romanian stamps, as well as Romfilatelia’s experience and involvement in fostering dialogue and the exchange of ideas. It was agreed that in the near future, cultural projects will be analysed and established, aiming to represent Romania in the United States.
