Today, May 9th, at the InfoEuropa Centre, took place the presentation of the philatelic album produced exclusively by Romfilatelia for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The philatelic path of the anniversary postage stamp in the European Union started in 2005 with the signing of the Treaty of Accession of Romania to the great family of the European Union and became part of the national philatelic heritage with the recognition of the postage stamp as a true instrument of public diplomacy.
The event took place in the presence of Mr. Bogdan Aurescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Luminița Odobescu, Presidential Advisor, Mrs. Laurence Auer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic in Romania, Mrs. Ramona Chiriac, Head of the European Commission’s Representation in Romania, the diplomatic corps accredited in Romania, other guests.
Romfilatelia has been praised for its contribution to recognised European values, marking important events through the postage stamp.
