The National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest, in partnership with the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), with the support of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the US Embassy in Romania, organized the largest event in the region dedicated to the exploitation of outer space and the opportunities it offers.
Promoting aerospace education and space in general are topics addressed at the conference such as hands-on learning and interdisciplinary collaborations, highlighting the importance of cultivating an interest in space, facilitating a dialog between experts and representatives from various fields.
The event benefited from the presence of world-renowned astronauts Susan Kilrain and Dominic A. Antonelli, astronauts from the USA, Simon Jenner, Ecosystem Manager, Axiom Space and Slawosz Uznanski, ESA Astronaut, representatives of the Romanian Presidential Administration and Government, academia and universities, along with representatives of the business community, national and regional institutions in the field.
Romfilatelia, as a practice of promoting themes specific to the field of astronautics and the cosmos, has highlighted on the postage stamps moments of space travel, human presence but also elements related to innovation in the future. As they say, imagination has no limits. “Only the sky is the limit”.
