The Embassy of the State of Israel in Bucharest organized a high-class musical event to open the series of celebrations dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel.
The extraordinary concert performed by the National Radio Orchestra, under the baton of the Israeli conductor Nir Brand, originally from Romania, reconfirms the special relationship between Romania and Israel, reflected in 75 years of uninterrupted diplomatic relations.
In a packed hall, in a warm, friendly, touching atmosphere, Maestro Nir Brand, soloist and conductor, present for the first time in Romania, interacted with the audience in unison, evoking special moments in the friendly relations between the two countries, but also in the troubled history of the Jewish people. A special moment was dedicated in advance to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Romfilatelia sends its congratulations to His Excellency, Mr. Reuven Azar, Ambassador of the State of Israel for organizing the cultural anniversary event, ensuring the continuation of the mission of promoting, through the postage stamp, universal values, bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, traditions and culture, a true bridge of unity between peoples.
